We, activists and separatists of Gilan, have our new flag. It’s made up of three colors of blue (symbol of the Caspian Sea), green (symbol of Gilan as it’s all green due to our forests) and white (symbol of Sepid Roud or as it means White River that divides Gilan and our history, languages, culture into two halves).
We all made this flag and it was acceptable among our people however this is a changed and edited version of the old version made by older activists and we are trying to make it official.

http://glk.wikipedia.org according to my friend from Sari (Gilan), this flag nowadays becomes prevalent in Gilan between many Gilanis (for national identity). The flag is horizontal tricolor of light blue, light green and black.

Hizb-i Jangali party

Nations Without States [mnh96] gives a flag for the Hizb-i Jangali party, the largest nationalist party of the Gilaki people of Gilan province in Iran. It is a green flag with a white crescent and six-pointed star in the upper hoist. The book does support the belief that the flag shown for Gilaki nationalists is not likely tolerated. It describes the nationalist movement as underground, and mentions that mass executions have occurred in an attempt to suppress it.
